Carolyn Chen Places in the Top 3 of The RCM Music Lights the Way Piano Festival

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, we had the pleasure of attending the finals of The RCM Music Lights the Way Piano Festival 2023, to support our Carolyn Chen - student of Dr. Miranda. At just 10 years of age, it was no small feat, having emerged amongst 8000 hopefuls from Canada and the United States, for a spot in the finals at Koerner Hall. She performed Intermezzo, op. 116, no. 2 - Johannes Brahms with much emotion, grace, and sophistication, years beyond her tender age. We’re pleased to announce that Carolyn placed in the Top 3 of the Level 9 Advanced Group. Congratulations to Carolyn, her parents and to Dr. Miranda for such an inspiring accomplishment! We are so proud of you Carolyn!
